Background:
This unique product was made possible by our testing we found by accident
that when certain amounts of the blend of ingredients were mixed and applied
as above the areas tested were virtually drought proof. During the past 10
years we have mainly been using waste coffee from Zarafas coffee houses on
the gold coast in Australia. Based on this fact we have been able to along
with Zarafas and more recently Starbucks, Coffee Club and Gloria Jeans.
Applications:
This product is best applied anywhere in Australia, especially on the Gold
Coast and Brisbane as this is where it has been tested. It is also good for
helping to keep that black mould away that tends to appear in the winter
where the sun does not hit the areas. This product once in place will not
disintegrate for many years as it is made from volcanic rock.
Benefits:
The environment always has needed a hand since man started polluting it and
we here at ausis along with those coffee houses mentioned above are helping
in the best way we know how. That is by instead of dumping this valuable
product in the ever increasing landfills we are recycling it into a usable
product that benefits not only you the people but nature and the environment
as well.
The way this product benefits the areas it is placed on is to save water and
to place into the soil nutrients it may be lacking. Also it aerates the
soils so the earthworms also can do their job more effectively. On top of
this it helps to balance out the Ph of the soils and incorporate more
natural humus. It supplies small amounts of carbon nitrogen sulphur and
other important minerals.
Recommendations:
We recommend you use this blend rather than trying to make your own as it
has been tried and tested over 10 years. Alongside this fact if to much is
applied of any particular ingredient it can have negative effects especially
in summer when the plants and soil need it most. This is due to the nature
of the coffee as it has been heated it has that energy still though it may
not feel hot. The application rate is about 20 kg bucket per 100 metres
square, if the area has been badly dried out 2 applications would be a good
idea.
Expectations:
Our trials over the 10 years have indicated the results should be evident in
1 to 2 weeks. Generally speaking you will notice in the case of grass the
grass will start to green up and or look more refreshed often but not always
a mass of new growth may appear as this boost of nutrients and moisture is
delivered.
